Have you ever put stuff in a box... as the years go by... they become memories?
Well, I do. I have a middle school box and a high school treasure chest.
Whats nuts is that ever since I got back in touch with James *my bf from like way way way back then* ... I've had the urge to look back. I hadnt opened my middle school box in years.
So today, I went into my messy ass room, cracked open my box... and well, to say the least, there was dust. lol.
I had an old Christmas tree from 10 years ago, notes/letters from friends and James. I had one of those old school memory books... YOU KNOW THE KIND WHERE YOU PUT TOGETHER A BUNCH OF NOTEBOOK PAPER IN A MANILLA FOLDER, THEN YOU NUMBER EACH PAGE, AND YOU PASS IT AROUND FOR PPL TO WRITE THEIR ADDRESS AND MESSAGE TO YOU?!! lol. Yes, I had like 5. lol. I have 4 of my favorite barbies in the box too. I have the first Tiggr that anyone ever gave me *it was from James* lol. I have pictures. And I also have the HOMECOMING MUM that James made for me our 8th grade year. wow! I just sat back and reminissed.
I love being able to look back and recall all the good ol'times.
I look back at my high school stuff from time to time, but not too often. Its stilll too soon. But wow, its crazy. I read through a bunch of letters that I wrote to James when I was at LECJ my freshman year. I never mailed them.
Then I read through all the letters he sent me.... then I read more of what I wrote... after we broke up. Wow, time sure does fly by. Memories are priceless. I value that more than I will ever value any materialistic thing I will ever by. ...
Just a thought.
